Strawberry Lemonade Herb and Fruit Tea
This sunny strawberry lemonade tea is sure to liven up your day with its lemon and citrus notes paired with vibrant strawberry savour and aroma. Citrus essences are known to invigorate the body and animate the spirit; especially when feeling sluggish or moody. Needless to say, this is a “cheer me up and wake me up” tea! So if you’re in need of a pick-me-up any time of the day, help yourself to a cup and let the sunshine in!
Health Benefits of Strawberry Lemonade Tea
This Strawberry Lemonade tea is a healthy beverage, consisting of rosehips which are high in Vitamin C; calendula petals, known to detox and assist the immune system; and hibiscus, friendly to the heart. Calendula is also known to help fight flu, colds, fever, and stomach aches.
How to Steep Strawberry Lemonade
Enjoy it hot or cold, regardless, you’ll be satisfied. To brew it hot, add two teaspoons of for 12 oz. /350 ml of water. Using 100 C/ 212 F water, let it steep for 4-7 minutes. The longer you steep it, the stronger it will taste. Play around with the time and see what taste best for you. Pour it into your favourite mug and enjoy. We like using our CYPRUS mug for it's larger capacity.
For iced tea, use three teaspoons of tea for 9 oz. / 263 ml of water. Let it steep in 100 C / 212F water for 4- 7 minutes. Once it’s steeped, pour it over ice and enjoy. You can even add fresh lemon or orange wedges to enhance the flavour. Better yet, make it into a frozen a low-sugar popsicle treat.
