Hazelnut Vanilla Black Tea

For those of you who enjoy an Orange Pekoe with slight and subtle flavouring, this tea is a delightful choice. Our Ceylon tea is graced with almond and nut oils to create a soft hazelnut countenance with modest vanilla undertones. It is an excellent dessert tea, as it will not overpower the flavours of the dessert, but enhance them. This quality makes Hazelnut Vanilla an ideal accompaniment tea for any treat, and a fantastic variety for those who prefer slender hints of flavour rather than stronger, bolder ones. We also recommend this hazelnut vanilla black tea as a base for tea lattes due to its refined nature and flexible character.

What is Ceylon tea?

Ceylon tea comes from a small island called “Ceylon” located in Sri Lanka. Ceylon is not a specific type of tea; instead, it is a reference to the geographical region where the tea is grown. Both green teas and black teas are commonly found in Sri Lanka.

How to Steep it

To enjoy it hot, add one teaspoon of loose leaf tea for 12 oz (350 ml) of water. Let it steep for 2-3 minutes in 100 degrees C water. Because this tea has a subtle taste, add some sweetener to accentuate the flavours.

To enjoy it cold, add one teaspoon of loose leaf tea for 9 oz. (263 ml0 of water. Let it steep for 2-3 minutes in 100 degree C water. Add any desired sweeteners before pouring over ice to make sure it dissolves. Once steeping has completed, pour over ice and enjoy!

Add milk to make latte-like.
