Queen Elizabeth Black Tea

This Queen Elizabeth tea is a tea to satisfy even the most elect of tastes. With a lavish blend of Ceylon, Assam, and Darjeeling from the famous tea estates in India and Sri Lanka, it is an elixir that will make you want to take out your finest china. Enjoying a cup will reveal a musical crescendo of various notes and levels of flavours; malty, toasty, muscatel, fruity, and rustic. It is an incredible everyday tea with a little extra wow factor. That is why we’ve decided to dedicate it in honour of Queen Elizabeth who is known for her love of tea as well as her ability to impress. Want the full English tea experience? Why not add some scones with cream and jam, some mini sandwiches, or some cakes and cookies, and turn an ordinary afternoon into a palace tea party!

How to Steep it

To brew this tea hot, add one teaspoon of loose leaf tea for every 12 oz. (350 ml) of water. Using boiling water, let it steep for 2-4 minutes. Once steeping has completed, remove loose leaf tea and enjoy. We like adding a little bit of honey and milk.

Although we fancy drinking this tea hot, you can also enjoy it over ice. To make this tea iced, add one teaspoon of loose leaf tea for every 9 oz. (263ml) of water. Let the tea steep for 2-4 minutes in boiling water. Once steeping has completed, remove the loose leaf tea, pour over ice and enjoy.
