Chocolate Mint Tea

So it’s after dinner, and you’re craving one of those sweet chocolates with an inner layer of minty confection… however, you’re trying to be good and take the healthier route. What do you do? Steep yourself a gorgeous cup of Chocolate Mint tea and feel that craving melt away. Superior quality Ceylon from the three top tea regions of Sri Lanka is naturally flavored with mysterious dark chocolate and refreshing peppermint leaves, leaving you a tad bit giddy… but who’s complaining? Ah, sweet indulgence without the guilt…life can be so good!

How to Steep it

If you're a fan of chocolate mint ice cream, you're going to love this tea. What's better? No calories.

To make this tea hot add one teaspoon of loose leaf tea into your infuser tea mug for 12 oz (350 ml) of water. Let it steep in 100 degree C ( 212 F) water for 2-3 minutes. The longer you steep it, the stronger it'll be. Add any sweetener like sugar or honey to bring out the flavour and if you're up to it... add some milk. Yum!

Just like the ice cream, this tea is the perfect a delicacy enjoyed cold. To make it as an iced tea add one teaspoon for 9 oz. (263 ml) of water. Let it steep for 2-3minutes in 100 degrees C water. Once steeping has completed, pour over ice. If you like it sweet, add honey or sugar to the tea while it's steeping so it dissolves better. We also like to add a little milk to make it more dessert like.
