It is vegan and vegetarian.
Strawberry Green Tea Tasting Notes
The first thing you'll notice is the aroma of ripe, fresh strawberries that fills the room. It brews into a pale yellow-green cup with real strawberry flavour over a bold gunpowder green tea. The finish is clean and fruity. It tastes like real strawberries, not a perfumed fruit tea, and the bold tea underneath keeps it balanced.

What Is Gunpowder Green Tea?
Gunpowder tea is a classic green tea with each leaf rolled into a tiny pellet. The pellets look like gunpowder, which gives the tea its name. As they steep, the pellets unfurl into whole leaves, so give them room in your teapot.
About the Growing Regions
The green tea in this blend comes from Sri Lanka's high-grown Uva region and from the Chinese provinces of Shandong and Yunnan, grown at about 1,220 to 1,800 m (4,000 to 5,900 ft) above sea level. High-grown districts like these are known for flavourful tea.

Frequently Bought Together
How to Brew Strawberry Green Tea

- Tea: 1 heaping teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 8oz / 240 ml cup.
- Water temperature: 85°C / 185°F. Boiling water scorches green tea, so let it cool for a few minutes after boiling.
- Steep time: 3 to 5 minutes. Go 1 to 2 minutes for mild.
- Room to unfurl: Use a teapot or steeper with space for the leaves to open, like those in our teapot collection.
- Serving: Enjoy it plain. Milk, sugar and lemon would cover the strawberry.
- Iced: Use half the water (120 ml) when brewing. Pour the hot tea directly over a large cup filled with ice. As the ice melts, it will dilute the tea to the perfect strength.
- Iced strawberry tea by the pitcher: Steep 6 heaping teaspoons in about 315 ml of hot water for 5 minutes. Pour into a pitcher with about 250 ml of cold water and ice, then top up to 1 litre. Sweeten to taste and garnish with a few fresh strawberries.
