These biosand filters make their contaminated water safe to drink. Allowing them to work, go to school, and lead healthier and productive lives. These biosand filters last up to 30 years - saving and changing lives in the process without any extra chemicals, cartridges, electricity, or moving parts, and requiring little to no maintenance.

Open defecation is a leading cause the spread of infections from E.coli and other bacteria. By having secure latrines with access to water for sanitation, this risk of illness is controlled, leading to improved community health.
Community Involvement
We build latrines using locally sourced materials while involving the community in construction. This creates pride of ownership and understanding of maintenance. As a result, usage is near 100%, improving overall community well-being.
