Here are our recipes on how to make Iced Tea, how to make Thai Iced Tea, and how to make Iced Green Tea:
How to Make Iced Tea (Hot Brewed)
- 3 Tbsp of loose-leaf tea (we recommend using one of our Herbal, White or Oolong teas)
- 4 cups of water
- ½ - 1 cup of sugar
- Lemon slices, thin
-
ABERDEEN Smart Tea Maker (1000 ml)
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Place 3 Tbsp of your chosen loose-leaf tea in the top of the ABERDEEN Smart Tea Maker, then pour the boiling water into it.
- Cover and let steep for 4-5 minutes.
- Once done steeping, place the infuser teapot on top of your cup and press down. While pushing down, the tea will pour directly into your cup from the bottom of the ABERDEEN. As soon as you remove the Aberdeen from the cup, the tea stops pouring.
- Let cool, transfer to a pitcher, and add ½ - 1 cup of sugar and some thinly sliced lemon slices. Then cover the pitcher and let refrigerate for a couple of hours. You may also add some ice to the pitcher to keep the tea cooler for longer.
Note: make sure you brew your tea using the recommended temperature on the label. Brewing teas at the wrong temperature can alter the taste making it bitter and astringent.
