At GROSCHE, we recognize the importance of volunteering in our local community. We try to give a hand where and when we can. Yesterday, we volunteered at the House of Friendship and spent half the day packing Christmas hampers for those in need within Kitchener and Waterloo Region.
House of Friendship
As a team, we gathered with neighboring volunteers and packed any assortment of food products. This year, the House of Friendship, a charitable social service agency that services over 42,000 women, men, youth and children living on low income, plans to pack and deliver 4,000 hampers compared to 200-400 in past years.
GROSCHE's commitment to volunteering
Every yearly quarter, Grosche spends time volunteering within the local community. This past year we have volunteered at other nonprofit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, and St. John's Kitchen and look forward to volunteering for other various organizations in the future.
Being a certified B Corp and social enterprise, we value the importance of volunteering and giving back to our local community. Not only are we helping our neighbours, but it is also very fulfilling to our staff and team.
