We love the beach! Here in Ontario our choice is maybe somewhat limited, but we still have some great beaches to hang out. When it comes to packing for the beach, keep it simple and don't overpack! We have put together a list of 7 beach essentials to make your life easier.
Here's our list of seven beach essentials.
1. Sunscreen
If you plan on spending a whole day at the beach, one of the beach essentials is a sunscreen with a high SPF. You should use at least SPF 30 sunscreen and reapply after swimming. If it's a really hot day and you plan on running around and playing games, a sports sunscreen may be best as it will stay on if you're sweating.
2. Large blanket
Always make sure to bring a large blanket or beach chairs. If you want to stay for a while at the beach its great to have a comfortable chair to sit in or have a large blanket to lay on.
3. Hat & Sunglasses
A hat and sunglasses is always a great thing to bring to the beach. You want to make sure that you have adequate sun protection if you're going to be in the sun for a long period of time.
4. Snacks
Pack sandwiches and snacks in a cooler bag to make sure that you have lunch while you're sitting in the sand. You don't want to get hungry while you're trying to have a fun day at th e beach!
5. Frisbee
Have fun and bring a frisbee or a volleyball to the beach to stay active. If you're looking to relax a bit more, bring a great book to read while soaking up the sun.6. Towel
Bring a towel so you can dry off after you go swimming. Make sure you always apply another coat of sunscreen after swimming.
7. Water
Don't forget, one of the most important things to bring to the beach is water! You want to stay hydrated the entire time you're there. Being out in the sun can dehydrate you fairly quickly and you definitely don't want that. Plastic water bottles are not always the best to take to the beach due to the heat of the sun affecting the safeness of the plastic.
Bring your COPENHAGEN Glass Travel Infuser to the beach! It's great for traveling and infusing fruit into your water, which will give you that extra boost at the beach. The glass will be fine in the sun (or keep it cool in your cooler bag) and you'll be able to drink your infused fruit water on the go.
