Peach Cobbler white tea
This peach cobbler white tea is light and fruity, making it the perfect choice for a hot or cold cup. White tea is the least processed of all teas stemming from the Camellia Sinensis plant. Due to the lack of processing and its early plucked leaves, white tea is considered to be the tea highest in antioxidant levels.
How to steep white tea
To steep this tea hot, add two teaspoons of loose white tea leaves for every 12 oz. (350 ml) of water into your tea infuser or infuser teapot. White tea leaves are delicate so it’s important not to steep your peach cobbler tea using boiling water. Let the leaves steep for 2-3 minutes using approxiamtely 84 degrees C water, or let your boiling water sit before pouring it over the leaves. It is also important to not let your white tea steep over the recommended steep time to avoid the tea tasting bitter and astringent and in some cases, burnt.
To enjoy this tea cold, add two teaspoons of loose leaf tea into your tea infuser for every 12 oz. (350 ml) of water. Let it steep using 84 degrees C water for 3 minutes. Pour your steeped tea over ice or add it to your favourite summer cocktail for a fun twist!
