A full-bodied Assam black tea
This Assam black tea from GROSCHE is a classic style loose-leaf black tea produced in India’s Assam state. Assam is in the North Eastern part of India and is well known for this kind of black tea. This loose-leaf tea has a full bodied reddish-golden infusion and a rich, dark malty flavour with notes of toasted caramel. As a result, it’s a favourite morning tea and often had with milk and sugar or honey.
How to make Assam loose-leaf tea
Use around 1 tsp per cup to make a nice full-bodied black tea that’s high on flavour. Set your kettle to 90 degrees Celsius. Don’t worry if you don’t have a kettle where you can set a custom temperature. Simply boil your water and wait one minute before pouring it over your Assam black tea. Let it steep for 3-4 minutes and then pour it in your cup. Try adding milk and sugar or honey for a perfectly smooth and mild cup of tea.
